1934 – 2016
LIVERMORE — Phyllis B. Cummings, 82, of Livermore died peacefully, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, March 24.
Phyllis was born Jan. 29, 1934, in East Longmeadow, Mass., the daughter of Arthur and Clara Green. She attended local schools, graduating from Commerce High School. On June 15, 1963, she married the love of her life, David L. Cummings, and together they made their home in East Longmeadow, Mass. They were married 52 years before David’s home going on Nov. 15, 2015.
She is survived by a daughter, Laurie Enos, and her husband, Carlton, of Livermore; a son, James David Cummings and his wife, Jaime, of Rumford; sisters, F. Sylvia Hutchinson of Sugarhill, N.H., and Sally A. Harris of Virginia; three beloved grandchildren, Carlton “John” Enos, and his fiancée, Marissa Henderson, of Canton; Timothy Enos of North Scituate, R.I.; and Sarah Enos of Livermore, and her boyfriend, Mark Smith, of Livermore Falls; one great grandchild, Brantley Thomas Enos; nieces and nephews, Wendy Heineman of Massachusetts, Timothy Hutchinson of California, Alan Spidle of New Jersey, and Molly Harris-Arrington of North Carolina.
She was predeceased by her parents; and just a few short months ago, her beloved husband, David.
