Report was unfounded.

3/26/2016 Deputy Burke investigated a civil property dispute on Pleasant St in Phillips. Complainant was upset

about the neighbor’s kids riding bicycles on his property.

3/27/2016 at approximately 4:05pm The Sheriff’s office received a complaint of a sexual assault involving a

female under the age of 16 that occurred in the town of Freeman.  Based upon the investigation conducted by

Detective Ken Charles, Justin M. Robinson (21) of Freeman Twp. was arrested at 10:30 pm that same night at

his residence in Freeman for Class C unlawful sexual contact and Class D unlawful sexual touching.

3/27/2016 Deputy Burke responded to a complaint of a suicidal person on the Carthage Rd in Carthage. The

subject took off on his parents ATV and had communicated that he was going to hurt himself however he did

eventually returned home and was transported to the hospital by a family member to Rumford to be evaluated.

3/28/2016 Corporal Hartley investigated a report of theft of medical marijuana from Paul Rd in Chesterville.

3/28/2016 Corporal Bean responded to the Saddleback ridge Wind Project in Carthage regarding a report of

several people on ATV’s drove around the fence and damaged some property there.

3/28/2016 Deputy Doucette responded to Time Square Rd in Industry regarding report of suspicious activity.

3/28/2016 Deputy Doucette assisted a stranded motorist on Federal Row in Industry.

3/29/2016 Chief Deputy Lowell and Corporal Hartley responded to Coburn Gore for a report of a log truck that

had rolled over spilling its load shutting down route 27. State Police is the primary call on the accident scene.

3/29/2016 Corporal Brann conducted a traffic stop on route 4 in Avon, as a result of the stop the driver, Lee

Haines (41) of Phillips was arrested on a warrant and transported to jail.

3/29/2016 Deputy Morgan investigated a theft complaint on the Placid Rd in Avon. The complainant stated

someone stole parts from his vehicle.

3/30/2016 Deputy Scovil investigated a report of theft from Winter Hill Rd in Carthage.

3/30/2016 Deputy Scovil assisted a stranded motorist on South Shore Drive in Rangeley Plt.

3/30/2016 Deputy Doucette investigated a trespassing complaint on the Borough Rd in Chesterville.

3/30/2016 Deputy Morgan and Trooper Bond investigated a suspicious incident on George Thomas Rd in

Chesterville. A car pulled into the driveway of the complainant who was home alone with her children. A male

got out of the car and started to knock on her door, she would not answer. Morgan and Trooper Bond arrived

shortly after the call and identified the people in the vehicle who were all from New Sharon. They claimed they

were out of fuel and were going to ask the owner for fuel.

3/30/2016 Deputy Scovil responded to a single vehicle accident on route 27 in New Vineyard, no injuries were

reported.

3/30/2016 Deputy Doucette conducted a traffic stop on Main St in Strong, as a result of the stop a passenger,

Vanessa Gordon (26) of Farmington was arrested on a warrant.

3/30/2016 Deputy Scovil investigated a fraud complaint on Varnum Pond Rd in Temple. The complainant

stated that someone was using her credit card to order a laptop on Walmart.com.

3/31/2016 Deputy Morgan responded to an animal complaint on Lambert Hill Rd in Strong.

3/31/2016 Deputy Doucette responded to a two car accident on the Ridge Rd in Chesterville. No injuries were

reported.

3/31/2016 Det. Ken Charles and Chief Lowell assisted Farmington Police removing a person from a Bridge St.

residence.

3/31/2016 Chief Lowell, Lt. St. Laurent, Corporal Bean, Det. Ken Charles responded to the Kimball Pond road

in New Sharon regarding a report of a possible suicidal person. This was a false report, charges are pending.

3/31/2016 Deputy Morgan responded to the Huff Rd in Freeman Twp. regarding a report of a possible violation

of a PFA.

3/31/2016 Corporal Brann responded to a vandalism complaint on the Barker Rd in New Vineyard. The

landlord reported that the renter’s son had shot up the inside of the house.

 

3/31/2016 Deputy Morgan investigated a report of a possible suicidal person on the Farmington Rd in Strong.

The complainant called to report that a male had just left her house in a vehicle in a rage. She claimed he was

depressed and suicidal. Morgan made contact with the male and determined he was fine and not suicidal.

4/1/2016 Lt. Rackliffe responded to a single vehicle accident on the West Mills Rd in Industry.

Deputies conducted 21 building checks during this time period, all were secure; Deputies also conducted 5 elder

checks.
