GRAFTON TOWNSHIP — Rescue crews were at Table Rock late Friday afternoon for a pair of men said to be stranded in the area.

Maine game wardens were assisting Oxford County sheriff’s officials and others in the rescue effort at about 6 p.m. Details were scarce on where the pair was stranded.

There were no immediate reports of injury.

Table Rock sits 900 feet above the trailhead in Grafton Notch State Park near the New Hampshire border. It was believed that part of the trail is still covered with snow and ice.
