Artworks by Marie DeForge will be displayed in the Art and Ale window at Gritty’s,  68 Main St., Auburn, for the month of April, according to L-A Arts. DeForge’s art career didn’t start until 2012,  after she began her path to becoming a holistic healer and teacher. This connection, she said, led her to begin having fun with paint and canvas and has merged that with her work as a spiritual healer and teacher.  DeForge will be launching her first art class, “Wild Soul Expressions,” in May at Leapin’ Lizards in Freeport.  More of her art can be seen online at www.wildsoulart.biz.
