1966 – 2016
NORTH NORWAY — Donald David Clark, 50, of North Norway passed away on Thursday, March 31, at his family homestead, “Sunnyside Farm,” surrounded by his beloved family.
Donald was born March 2, 1966, in Norway and was a 1984 graduate of Oxford Hills High School with a certification in forestry management.
Most of his career was spent using his passion and talents as a carpenter. He was a longtime employee of Damon Brothers Building Contractors of Mechanic Falls and later at Sabre Yachts in Casco, as a finish carpenter.
Donald loved history and land preservation exemplified in the purchase and restoration of his own home. Donald was a very kind, loving and ethical soul with quiet wit and humor. He will be greatly missed.
Donald is survived by his mother, Marilyn Johnson Clark of North Norway; sisters, Melissa C. Sulloway of Bridgton, Shelly Stevens of Norway, Belinda Clark of Norway; brothers, Russell E. Clark Jr. of Greenwood and Joel Clark of Norway; and 10 nieces and nephews; and four great-nieces and nephews.
Donald was predeceased by his father, Russell E. Clark Sr.
