1923 – 2016

AUBURN — Lucille R. Bolduc, 92, formerly of 22 Green St., Lewiston, and a two-year resident of Montello Heights, died Tuesday, April 5, at Clover Manor in Auburn, where she lived for the past year.

Born in Lewiston on Oct. 11, 1923, she was the daughter of Adelphat and Hedwidge Gosselin Bolduc. Educated locally, she was a graduate of Lewiston High School, Class of ’40. After a couple of years working at the bleachery and in local shoe shops, she went to work as a phone operator for New England Telephone, later AT&T, retiring after 43 years. A member of the Telephone Pioneers, she loved her job, and also enjoyed traveling to Canada to visit relatives. Lucille was a devout Catholic, and belonged to the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, Prince of Peace Parish.

Survivors include a sister, Antoinette, and husband, Robert Desjardins of Lewiston; a sister-in-law, Zita Bolduc, of Lewiston, and several nieces and nephews.
