WILTON — Applications for the 2016 Wilton Scholarship Foundation and Hazel Chaney scholarships are now available online through the School Counseling Office link on the Mt. Blue High School website or in person at the Wilton Town Office.
All current and former graduates from Wilton, East Wilton, East Dixfield, Dryden, and Weld are eligible.
Deadline to mail or return applications is May 14.

Friends of the Library to meet
RUMFORD — The Friends of the Rumford Public Library will meet at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, in the public room of the library.
The Friends will discuss restoration and repair of at the historic Carnegie building; visit the newly restored reading room; and review the to-do list of library ,eeds and upcoming events.

Take-A-Chance Auction
HIRAM — Ossipee Valley Agricultural Society will host the fifth annual Take-A-Chance Auction on Friday, April 15.
The event will begin at 4 p.m. when tickets go on sale, and the drawing will begin at 6:30 p.m. The event is going to be held at the Sacopee Valley Elementary School on South Hiram Road.
Refreshments will be available for purchase.
Retired Educators to meet
WATERFORD — The next scheduled meeting of the Oxford County Educators Association-Retired is Friday, April 15, at the North Waterford Congregational Church.
Sign-ins will be at 10:30 a.m. followed by a business meeting at 11 a.m. The meal will be served at noon, and the scheduled program will begin at 1 p.m. Percy Turner, retired member of the Maine State Police, will be the guest speaker.
Sale to benefit Fairbanks School
FARMINGTON — The Fairbanks School annual antique and collectible sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 16, at the Fairbanks School, 508 Fairbanks Road.
Donations accepted, and proceeds will benefit the maintenance fund.

Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children 12 and younger.
Public supper planned in Wilton
WILTON — A public supper to benefit the building fund at the Harland M. Harnden Masonic Hall will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, April 16, at 70 Bryant Road.
The menu will consist of roast pork, mashed potatoes, veggies, dinner rolls, assorted homemade pies and beverages.
Cost is $8.00 for adults and $5 for those younger than 12.

WEST PARIS — The Finnish-American Heritage Society of Maine will hold its annual organizational meeting and members’ potluck at 1 p.m. Sunday, April 17, at the FinnAm Hall on Maple Street.
Sale will benefit camp scholarships
FARMINGTON — The W.G. Mallett School will sponsor a flea market-yard sale from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 7, in the bus loop at the school.
Spaces can be leased for just $15, but participants need to provide their own tables.
All proceeds from the event will benefit Summer Camp Scholarships.
