‘Wish Us Luck’ service
PARIS — The worship service at 10 a.m. Sunday, April 10, at the First Universalist Church on Pine Street will be led by Silver Moore-Leamon. The title is “Wish Us Luck.”
Music is under the direction of Donna Hurd. Coffee and fellowship will follow the worship service, and everyone is welcome.
Child care is available and the First Universalist Church is wheelchair-accessible. The First Universalist Church of South Paris welcomes and celebrates all beliefs.
Daughters of Isabella to meet
RUMFORD — St. Timothy’s Circle No. 504 Daughters of Isabella will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, at the Holy Savior Church hall.
Chairwomen for the meeting are Sandra Gamez and Evelyn Bodemer. Committee members are Judy Collette, Marcelle Miller and Jolene Lovejoy.
Daughters who will be congratulated on their extended memberships are Mary Boudreau for 49 years, Hazel Buccina for 52 years, Mary Buccina for 55 years and Jennie Curato for 55 years.

Chicken supper at Durham church
DURHAM — The First Congregational Church of Durham will host a barbecue chicken supper from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 16, at 773 Royalsborough Road.
The church is wheelchair-accessible.
The menu includes wood-smoked barbecue chicken, assorted salads, coleslaw, rolls and homemade desserts. Admission costs $9 for adults, $3 for children ages 6 to 12, and free for kids 5 and younger.

Farmington Baptist fellowship meal
FARMINGTON — Farmington Baptist Church will serve its monthly fellowship meal at noon Sunday, April 17.
The kitchen will serve beans, hot dogs, biscuits, corn bread and coleslaw.
The service will begin at 10:30 a.m.
Winthrop church Vacation Bible School
WINTHROP — Winthrop United Methodist Church will host Everest Vacation Bible School from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday, April 19, to Friday, April 22, at 58 Main St.
Children can experience activities that bring faith to life, including team-building games, Bible songs, experiments and eating tasty treats.
The church will help students in pre-kindergarten to fifth grade discover how to see evidence of God in everyday life and share a hands-on mission project to show God’s mighty love to children in other communities.

Church to serve senior luncheon
AUBURN — The Auburn United Methodist Church will hold its monthly Senior Luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 19, at 439 Park Ave.
The menu will include baked ham, baked potatoes, carrots, peas, rolls and party cake for dessert.
The cost is $7, and reservations are required. Entertainment will be provided by Ken and Jane Brooks.
