1955 – 2016

MONMOUTH, Ore. — Claire Marie Angers, 60, passed away Tuesday, March 15, at her home in Oregon.

She was born in Lewiston on July 3, 1955, daughter of the late Leonard and Jacqueline (Maynard) Angers. She was a 1974 graduate of Lewiston High School and continued her education at the University of Maine, Central Maine Vocational Technical Institute, Pitt Technical and George Fox University, receiving a bachelor’s degree, RN and CCM in nursing. She retired from Salem Hospital in Salem, Ore., due to illness.

She is survived by her companion, Andy Hardwick of Oregon; her sister, Colette McNinch of New Hampshire; a brother, Charles Angers of California; two nephews, Henry Giasson III of New Hampshire, and Robert McNinch and family of Florida; a niece, Vanessa McNinch of New Hampshire; an aunt, Rita Angers of Lewiston; and several cousins and friends.
