Season outlook: Leavitt lost four close games due largely to walks and errors a year ago and wound up missing the playoffs by fewer than two Heal Points because of it. The majority of that roster returns. Cifelli likes the versatility of the roster, as it should allow him to use a number of lineups and situational defenses. The pitching staff is senior-dominated. The KVAC is a loaded league, but the Hornets have the experience to break through and make a postseason appearance.
