WOODSTOCK — The Woodstock Conservation Commission is sponsoring a street cleanup from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 23, commission member Jane Chandler said.
“This is one day that we set aside so that neighbors can gather to pick up the roadside trash,” she said. “It’s spring, it’s getting warmer, and the trash is more visible.”
Anyone interesting in participating can meet at 9 a.m. the Bryant Pond baseball field at Lakeshore Drive. Chandler suggested they bring work gloves and reflective gear. Trash bags will be available.
The rain date is April 30.
For more information, contact Chandler at 357-3524.
This is the second year of the spring cleanup.
