AUBURN — The Auburn Democratic City Committee will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, at Auburn Hall.
In addition to discussion of the May 6 Democratic state convention, the committee will hear from Matt Leonard, president of the Lewiston Auburn Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, on why Auburn should continue to fund the Lewiston-Auburn Economic Growth Council as part of a joint venture with Lewiston. Local candidates for office will also speak.
Parking is available in the garage. Use the courtyard entrance and take the elevator to the second floor.
The Democratic City Committee meetings are held the fourth Tuesday of the month. Refreshments are served and visitors are welcome. Attendees are encouraged to bring a nonperishable food item for the pantry at the Trinity Jubilee Center. Call 740-0113 for information.
