LEWISTON — The Lewiston Auburn Metropolitan Area Chamber of Commerce will hold the next in its Seminar Series on Financial Matters from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 27, at the chamber, 415 Lisbon St., Lewiston. The topic will be “The Exit Planning Process.”

This session will provide an overview of why business owners should prioritize exit planning and discuss key questions before exit planning can begin. Attendees can learn:

• How to identify objectives;

• How the process starts; and

• How advanced planning can ease the transition, minimize taxes and preserve cash flow.

The workshop will be led by David Jean, CPA, CCIFP, CExP, principal of Albin, Randall & Bennett. He specializes primarily in financial accounting and consulting for closely held businesses, including construction, manufacturing and real estate development companies.

Jean provides tax, accounting and management advisory services. He is a certified exit planner and serves as the managing partner of Altus Exit Strategies.
