AUBURN — John A. Biedryzcki Jr., national commander-in-chief of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, has appointed Arthur J. Roy to the National VFW Veterans Services Resolutions Committee.

As a member of this committee he is invited to attend the national convention in Charlotte, N.C., from July 23 to 27, where he will be assigned to a Convention Resolutions Committee. This year’s theme is: “loyalty honor service.”

Roy is the past all-American state commander and a Gold Legacy life member of Auburn VFW Post 1603 on 588 Minot Ave. He also serves as the state chief of staff for the Department of Maine VFW, District 9 adjutant and public relations officer.
