LIVERMORE — Announcement is made of the engagement of Shannon Elaine Jacobs Packard and Scott Adrian Gauvin, both of Livermore.
The future bride is the daughter of Cheryl Pelletier and her late husband, David Pelletier of Prospect and the late Harry Jacobs of Mexico. She is a registered nurse with her doctorate in health care administration. She is the director of nursing at Kaplan University in Augusta.
The future bridegroom is the son of the late Rose J. White of Rumford and the late Aurele Gauvin of Andover. He is a 1989 graduate of Rumford High School and has been employed at the Rumford Paper Mill for 24 years.
The wedding will be held at 4 p.m. on Oct. 29 at Black Mountain of Maine.
