TURNER – The Community Clothing Center on the green in North Turner will open for the season from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 4.

The Clothing Center is an outreach program for the community run by the North Turner Union Presbyterian Church. It will be open each Wednesday night until October.

There have been many new clothing donations over the winter, and the items available for purchase have been cleaned, sorted and are ready to go home. Most items are priced at 25 cents in order to make things available to everyone, and the Center is open to the public, not just Turner residents.

Anyone wishing to make donations is asked to do so during Wednesday night opening hours or when folks are working in the center.

Proceeds from the clothing sales go into supporting other outreach programs, including the Turner Food Bank and a heating assistance program.
