LEWISTON — The Lewiston Seniors will meet Monday, May 2, for a membership meeting at Sam’s Luncheon.

Tickets can be purchased in the office for $5. The speaker will be Robyn Spugnardi from AARP, who will speak on senior scams.

The Lewiston Seniors had two guest speakers at their meeting April 4. First was Kim Finnerty, director of Whiting Farms; second was Elmer Whiting.

Finnerty informed members Whiting’s was purchased by Margaret Murphy Center. She talked about the operation of the farm and what products would be for sale when the farm opens May 7.

Finnerty and Whiting gave each member marigold seedlings to plant. Anita Frenette and Betty Ames each won a gift card to Whiting’s. April birthdays were recognized with cake. Pot o’gold winners were Barbara Fournier and Anita Frenette.
