LEWISTON — The Lewiston Auburn Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce will host its next technology seminar from noon to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, in the chamber’s conference room, 415 Lisbon St.

The topic will be “Technology: What do you know about IT? — A Discussion About Public and Private Clouds.” Presenter will be Fred Masciangelo, vice president of sales and marketing for enablesIT.

As your business develops its strategy for implementing a cloud computing solution, the choice you face is whether to deploy your infrastructure in a public or private cloud. So what are the differences between the two? And what is the right solution for your business?

Masciangelo has 26 years of experience in IT and telephony. He brings a wealth of proven practical solutions to help companies implement and operate their corporate IT needs. His career started out in the early ’90s at MCI, where he quickly rose through the sales ranks to become one of the youngest managers at the company.

The Lewiston Auburn Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce will host the technology seminar series through November 2016. The cost is $25 for members and $50 for nonmembers.
