CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — Retail gas prices are still on the rise across northern New England.

GasBuddy surveys show the average retail price in New Hampshire is $2.17 per gallon, up 6.4 cents per gallon from last week. Prices are even higher in Maine and Vermont. The average price per gallon in Maine is $2.28, a 5.7 cent-per gallon increase in the last week. In Vermont, it’s $2.25, up 5.2 cents per gallon from a week ago.

The national average of $2.22 has increased nearly 16 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 39.3 cents per gallon lower than this day one year ago.
