1913 – 2016

AUBURN — Priscilla A. Breault, 102, of Auburn passed away peacefully on Monday, May 2, at Clover Manor in Auburn.

She was born in Auburn on May 3, 1913, the daughter of the late Donat and Alice Rondeau (Demers). She grew up in the Auburn area and attended local schools there. On June 26, 1937, she married Roland Breault and the two spent many wonderful years together. During that time, Priscilla worked for several years as a stitcher and sewer for various shoe mills and factories. Later in life, she worked as a seamstress doing alterations and sewing until her retirement.

She will always be remembered for her creative gifts. An amazing artist, Priscilla loved painting and sewing. She loved gardening and tended her plants with love. Other favorites were spending quality time at Sebago, playing cards, eating lobster and family parties.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Yvette Demers of Auburn; a nephew, Richard Demers Sr. and his wife, Myrna, of Lewiston; her three nieces, Anita Olko and her husband, Paul, of Lewiston, Joanne Fuller and her husband, Steven, of Auburn and Jane McGuire and her husband, Stephen, of Auburn. She also leaves behind many great nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her loving husband, Roland Breault in 1968; two brothers, Raymond Demers Sr. and Norman Demers; and two nephews, Raymond Demers Jr. and Robert Demers.
