1946 – 2016
PORTLAND — Rita A. Dubois, 70, of 66 Cassell St., Lewiston, died Sunday, May 1, at Maine Medical Center in Portland, following a long illness.
Born in Lewiston on Feb. 11, 1946, she was the daughter of Patrick and Albertine Marquis Dubois. Educated in local schools, she worked for many years at General Electric in Auburn. Rita enjoyed crafts and gardening. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren, including visiting her daughter in California and going with her to Las Vegas, Nev.
She is survived by her son, Bertrand A. Gosselin and wife, Tammy, of Lewiston; daughter, Denise and husband, Jeffrey Stanek, of Huntington Beach, Calif.; a brother, Gerald Dubois and wife, Diane, of North Turner; two sisters, Irene Salvatore of Hartford, Conn., and Patricia and husband, Leo Gagnon, of Turner; two grandchildren, Kayla and husband, Nolan Rioux, and Kyle Gosselin and companion, Alisha Majkowski; a great-grandson, Ryder Rioux; and her ex-husband, Bertrand R. Gosselin and wife, Dorothy.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by an infant brother, Richard.
