FARMINGTON — The Western Maine Audubon Society’s monthly program will take place at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, in Room 101 in the Roberts Learning Center at the University of Maine at Farmington. The program is called Bringing Nature Home.

Bringing Nature Home is a new Audubon conservation initiative based on the book by Doug Tallamy. Up for discussion is how what is being done in gardens, yards, neighborhoods and towns can play a critical role in supporting food webs for birds and other wildlife.

Maine Audubon Director of Education Eric Topper will discuss the work happening in Maine and share what community members can do.

The event is free and open to the public.
