WALES — Lakeside Chapter No. 60, Order of the Eastern Star, will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 10, at the Masonic Hall, 322 Centre Road.

The chapter will honor two of its Grand Representatives as their terms end: Ruth Wheeler representing West Virginia and Clarinda Andrews, representing South Dakota.

Ladies will be in colored gowns, men in dark suits or tuxes. Refreshment will be served at the end of the meeting.

On April 12, the Chapter held its annual Installation of Officers. The Installing Suite was led by Stephanie J. Dupal, PGM; John Cousins, PGP; Debra Greim, P.M.; Josephine V. Dupal; Eleanor V. Peterson, DDGM No. 4; Patricia Rea, W.M.; Janet Steeves, P.M.; and Linda Gray gave the Star Point Ceremony.

The Installing Grand Officer declared a Recess to prepare the Chapter Room and directed the Officers of 2015-2016 to retire.

When the Chapter Room was ready, the Installing Grand Marshal led the Officers of 2016-2017 into the Chapter Room to take their oath of Office and be installed.

Those installed were: Worthy Matron Jocelyne Jervis; Worthy Patron Stanton Leighton; Associate Matron Sonia Woodrum; Associate Patron Rodney Woodrum; Treasurer Cynthia Holbrook; Conductress Rachel Nadeau; Associate Conductress; Elizabeth Leighton; Chaplain Brett Jervis; Organist James Witherell; Adah Ruth Wheeler; Ruth Lucille Bauer; Martha Arlene Witherell; Electa Clarinda Andrews; Warder Jordan Witherell; and Sentinel Yvonne Winslow.
