1942 – 2016
BRUNSWICK — Jane Guimont, 73, of Maurice Drive, died Monday, May 9, at Mid Coast Hospital.
She was born in Lewiston on June 30, 1942, the daughter of Arthur and Yolande Juneau St. Pierre.
She was a 1962 graduate of Monmouth Academy. After the death of her father, she was adopted by her stepfather, Eddie St. Pierre, and raised by him and her mother.
From 1960 to 1980, Jane was a well-known hairdresser in Brunswick. On July 22, 1980, she married Ludger Guimont. He died Nov. 3, 2003.
Besides being a homemaker, she enjoyed flower and herb gardening, knitting, crocheting, being a photographer and taking pictures of flowers.
Survivors include her mother, Yolande St. Pierre of Brunswick; her brother, George St. Pierre and his wife, Doris, of Freeport; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
