LIVERMORE FALLS — Spruce Mountain High School seniors are excited about a new tradition this year, Principal TJ Plourde told Regional School Unit 73 directors Thursday night.
After marching practice June 10, the graduates will march through the hallways of the middle school, Jay Elementary School and Livermore Elementary School, he said.
Staff members saw a Facebook post about another school district, where younger students lined the hallways of their schools and gave high-fives and smiles to the seniors as they walked by, wearing their caps and gowns.
Plourde was asked about doing something similar in Spruce Mountain schools.
“The seniors are really pumped up about it,” Plourde said.
They will be bused to the elementary schools.
