RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial for Theresa M. Soucy of Bonita Springs, Fla. and formerly of Rumford for many years was celebrated at Parish of the Holy Savior, St. Athanasius–St. John Church, Rumford with the Rev. Greg Dube as celebrant. Altar Assistant was Bernard Poirier. Organist was Mark Belanger and soloist Peter Koch. Music selections included the pre-lude: Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring, during Mass, Amazing Grace and On Eagle’s Wings. Special music selection, Ave Maria was sung by soloist Cindy Bulger. The first reading from the Letter of Paul to the Romans was pronounced by granddaughter, Alison End Fineberg. The second reading from the Second Letter of Paul to the Corinthians was pronounced by stepgranddaughter, Laura End. The Prayers of the Faithful were pronounced by daughter, Elyse End. Presenting the Gifts were son, John Soucy, daughter-in-law, Laurie Soucy and granddaughter, Kirsten Soucy. The committal services were conducted by the Rev. Greg Dube. Interment was in St. John Cemetery, Rumford. A reception followed at Brian’s Bistro in Rumford. Arrangements were under the care of the Meader & Son Funeral Home, 3 Franklin Street, Rumford.
