LEWISTON — Cancer survivors in Maine will have the opportunity to join together in honor of National Cancer Survivors Day on Thursday, June 2, at The Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope and Healing, 29 Lowell St.

Cancer survivors, caregivers, family members, friends and health care professionals will unite to show that life after a cancer diagnosis can be meaningful, productive and even inspiring.

There will be an evening of music, interactive workshops and socializing from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. This year’s theme is “It Takes a Village.” Survivors and caregivers of any age will have the opportunity to participate. Light refreshments will be served.
