LEWISTON — A Mass of Christian burial honoring the life of Carmen L. Goupil was celebrated by the Rev. Marc Caron on Saturday, May 28, at Holy Cross Church of the Prince of Peace Parish.

 

During the Mass, Carmen’s granddaughter proclaimed a New Testament reading from the Letters of Paul. The Prayer of the Faithful was recited by granddaughter, Patty Liamos. The Offertory Gifts were brought to the altar by Nancy and Marc Mathieu.

 

Burial will be held later at the Maine Veterans’ Cemetery in Augusta.

 

Pallbearers were Michael, Dean and Randy Goupil, as well as Brian and Jeff Belanger and Peter Vaillancout.

 

At  the conclusion of services, all in attendance were invited to a reception of fellowship at Rolandeau’s Restaurant in Auburn.
