LEWISTON — Richard “Rick” W. Hubbard Jr., 49, of Lewiston died Monday, May 30, at Central Maine Medical Center with his family by his side.
Rick was born in Lewiston on Aug. 25, 1966, the son of Richard and Glenys Webber Hubbard. He was educated in Lewiston schools and graduated from Lewiston High School with the Class of 1985. On June 29, 1991, he married Angela “Angie” Brunetti. He was currently employed at Delhaize Group, the former Progressive Distributors, in Winthrop. Rick was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. His greatest pleasure in life, however, was always watching and supporting his children with their sporting events throughout the years. He always made them his No. 1 priority and never missed a game or practice no matter what he had going on.
He is survived by his wife, Angela, of Lewiston; two daughters, Morgan and Erin Hubbard, both of Lewiston; one son, Tanner Hubbard of Lewiston; and his grandson, Cooper Gendreau of Lewiston. He also leaves his mother, Glenys Hubbard of New Port Richey, Fla.; his three sisters, Donna Kent and her husband, Andy, of West Gardner, Linda Hubbard of Lisbon, and Amy Zack and her husband, David, of Spring Hill, Fla.; his brother, Tim Hubbard and his wife, Vicki Vaughn, of Windham; his mother-in-law and father in-law, Jim and Carrine Brunetti of Lewiston; and his brother-in-law and sister–in-law, Steve and Tammy Brunetti of Lewiston; and several nieces and nephews.
Rick was predeceased by his father, Richard “Dick” Hubbard Sr.; and two brothers, Don and Steven Hubbard.
