I enjoyed the Sun Journal article “Maine on the make” (May 29). In the spirit of invention and entrepreneurship, my partner, Pete Mickelson, and I want readers to know our part in the battle against off-shoring.

I would bet that our record of foreign country customers helps set our little company “apart from the rest,” to use a phrase. We at NEXTEP Inc. manufacture HearFones® in Buxton (not China) and have customers in more than 50 countries.

How is that for setting our little company “apart from the rest”?
