LEWISTON — Grace Note Community Music School will host its second summer music camp from June 27 through July 1 at Free Grace Presbyterian Church in Lewiston.
Participants ages 6 to 12 will have the opportunity to take workshops in drumming, to play Boomwhacker melody tubes and to build working instruments out of recycled and repurposed items. Campers ages 10 to 12 will also have the chance to learn the ukelele. No musical experience is necessary.
Each day will include snacks and games. On Friday, camp will conclude with lunch for family and friends, with an exhibition of the week’s accomplishments.
The camp runs from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Cost is $100 for the week plus an additional $50 for those who enroll in the ukelele class.
