The United States Air Force Langley Winds of the USAF Heritage of America Band will perform free, public concerts at Telstar High School in Bethel at 3 p.m., Sunday, June 12, and at the University of Maine at Farmington at 7 p.m, Tuesday, June 12.

Langley Winds is a pioneering woodwind and percussion ensemble offering innovative programming covering a wide array of musical styles. Employing a unique blend of instruments, Langley Winds performs creative arrangements and new compositions. Audiences enjoy hearing these virtuosic orchestral solo instruments in an intimate chamber music setting.

The UMF concert will take place at the Emery Community Arts Center, at 111 South St., on the UMF campus .

Activated in 1941, the United States Air Force Heritage of America Band has a rich history of inspiring public patriotism among all the U.S. military service branches.
