WESTFIELD (AP) — Two pilots have made an emergency landing in Maine after the small plane they were flying developed engine trouble.

WLBZ-TV reported (http://on.wlbz2.com/1UlltfW ) that Craig Maynard and his father, Rodney Maynard, landed the Cessna 172 plane in Westfield on Sunday.

The two had departed from Houlton Airport and did a touch-and-go landing at the Presque Isle Airport.

State police say the two were returning to Houlton when the plane started having engine problems.

Craig Maynard was able to turn the plane around and make an emergency landing.

The plane wasn’t damaged. No injuries were reported.
