1946 – 2016
JAY — Irene Theresa Moreau, of Fort Pierce, Fla., and Jay, passed away Wednesday, March 23, following a 31-day heroic battle with heart disease.
She was born Feb. 27, 1946, in Biddeford.
Although she faced many serious health challenges from a young age, Irene’s inner strength, optimism and determination proved to be the more powerful influences in forming her outlook on life. She possessed this inner strength right up until the time of her peaceful transition.
Irene is survived by her husband of 46 years, Ronald; a son, Christopher and his wife, Michelle; a daughter, Katharine and her husband, Mark Sterry; five grandchildren, Casandra, Skylar and Colby Moreau, Chantel Scott and Trevin Dunlop; two great-grandchildren, Lucas Wilson and Chloe Halloran; her special cousin, Roger Perreault; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and very special sisters and brothers-in-law.
