WILTON — Friendship Squares Square Dance Club recently ended its 2015-16 dance season with several activities.

The club held a graduation event for Becky Jasch and Greg Zemlansky, who completed the required instruction in mainstream dance and were awarded full membership to the club.

The club presented $250 to G.D. Cushing School Principal Keith Acedo to express gratitude for using the school’s cafeteria. Acedo expressed his thanks and desire to use the money for school needs.

The club also presented a $250 scholarship to Courtney Phelps, who is majoring in early childhood education at the University of Maine at Farmington. Phelps is also a member of the club.

The final dance of the season was on Sunday, June 5, at the G.D. Cushing School. There was an ice cream social.

The group’s activities resume Sept. 12.
