One needs only to read Bettyann Sheats’ list of experiences to understand that she is dedicated to public service: West Point graduate; Army helicopter pilot; member of the advisory committee of the St Mary’s Food Pantry; board member of the Auburn/Lewiston Municipal Airport; member of the vestry committee of her church; helped pass a bipartisan bill to ban BPA from children’s products.

We have been impressed both with the breadth of her knowledge on the basics that shape our lives — jobs, education, affordable health care and environmental protection — and with her eagerness to learn. As a successful small business owner, she understands how to address the needs of each individual.

Those people who have the opportunity to vote for Bettyann Sheats in the Democratic primary on June 14 should not pass it by. She will be a strong representative for District 64 — Auburn and Minot.
