Lewiston – SeniorsPlus, the designated Western Maine Agency on Aging, announces the June offering of their Long Distance Learning program, connecting community members in the Farmington area with live educational seminars being held at the Lewiston Education Center of SeniorsPlus.
The class, Diabetes and the Older Adult, will be held on Thursday, June 23th at SeniorsPlus’ Satellite office at 218 Fairbanks Road in Farmington. .
The instructors, Jamie Pepin and Gwenn Scot from Central Maine Endocrinology & Diabetes Center will discuss how age affects Diabetesand the need for medications, as well as ideas on eating and exercise.
Community members who wish to join the classroom at our SeniorsPlus Satellite Office need to register with SeniorsPlus. The class is free and all are welcome. For more information and to register, call 1-800-427-1241.
