Locke Mills 3, Franklin County 2
BETHEL — Jake Kraske had a two-run single to help Locke Mills to a 3-2 win over Franklin County in American Legion Baseball action.
Josh Eliot drove in the winning run with a sharp single in the fourth inning, running the home team’s lead at the time to 3-0.
The seventh almost spelled disaster for Locke Mills with the defense committing two errors, but it held on for the win.
Pastime 13, Augusta 10
LEWISTON — Gage Cote and Austin Wing each had a pair of hits and three RBIs in Pastime’s 13-10 victory over Augusta in Legion action.
One of Wing’s hits was a triple, and Cote had a double. Evan Cox and Brock Belanger each had two hits in the victory.
It was a come-from-behind victory for Pastime after Augusta jumped out to a 6-4 lead after two innings. After four innings, their lead was extended to 10-7. Pastime scored five in the bottom of the fifth inning and one more in the sixth inning to pull away.
