RANGELEY — Voters passed the Regional School Unit 78 budget of $3.89 million Tuesday night by a vote of 242-176.
Rangeley voters approved the budget by a margin of 174-108 and voters from the four plantations passed it by a vote of 68-62.
Voters in Dallas Plantation and Sandy River Plantation approved the budget, while Rangeley Plantation and Magalloway Plantation rejected it.
Voters in RSU 78 also approved keeping the two-step voting process in place for the next three years. The vote was 269-142.
