1938 – 2016

AUBURN — Constance “Connie” G. Corkery, 77, of 74 Bowdoinham Road, Sabattus died on Tuesday, June 14, at the Hospice House in Auburn surrounded by her loved ones.

Born in Lisbon on July 25, 1938, the daughter of Edward and Laura Morin Charpentier. She completed her education in Lewiston.

Connie was employed at BIW for 11 years as a preservation technician. She was an active member of Prince of Peace Parish and Holy Family Church in Lewiston.

She is survived by her loving husband of 15 years, Joseph Corkery of Sabattus. She is also survived by her three sons, Mike and Alecia Robitaille of Waldoboro, Marc and Ann Robitaille of Kinston, N.C., and Dan and Sue Robitaille of New Gloucester; and her two daughters, Debbie and Mark Goodwin of Kirkland, Wash., and Vicky and Kevin Batchelder of Shrewsbury, Mass. She leaves behind 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Connie was one of 11 siblings and is survived by four siblings, three sisters, Pauline (Gerald) Morin of Auburn, Eva (Joseph) Croteau of Lisbon, Cecile (Roland) Couillard of Auburn; and one brother, Edward Charpentier of Leesburg, Fla.
