FARMINGTON — United Way of the Tri-Valley Area invites the community to attend its open house and campaign celebration from 7:30 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, June 21, at its new office at 218 Fairbanks Road.

Pancakes, muffins, egg sandwiches, fresh fruit and yogurt will be served throughout the morning. United Way will provide tours of its new office space and celebrate its community partners, many of whom will be on hand to share information and answer questions.

United Way will also share information about its upcoming programs, including a Diaper Drive that will launch that day, and its Packs for Progress and Tools for Teachers initiative.

Visitors will have the opportunity to view Portraits of Courage, an exhibit of portraits by local artist Penny Hood that captures the strength and determination of survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, and those who work with survivors.

The event is also a campaign celebration, allowing United Way to recognize those who have supported the 2015-16 campaign, which raised $753,961 in cash and grants, goods and services, and volunteer service.

United Way will thank 2015-16 campaign Chairs Dave and Ellie Duley for their service, and welcome Becky Davis-Allen as the 2016-17 campaign chairwoman.
