TURNER — The fifth annual Celebration of American Patriotism and Freedom will take place at 9 a.m. Sunday, June 26, at the North Turner Union Presbyterian Church, 58 Howes Corner Road.

The Rev. Lissa E. Bradford will headline a special ceremony to honor, recognize and express appreciation for those with military service, first responders, and their families.

Members of Turner Post 111, American Legion, will present a full color guard, music and gun salute.

Local Boy Scout, Girl Scout and Cub Scout troops will join the program for the first time, along with first responders from Turner and surrounding towns.

Church Music Director Danny Camire, members of the choir, and Ron Morin, bugle for the American Legion, will perform all-American music.

Those attending are encouraged to wear their military or first-responder uniform, or red, white and blue clothing. This family-friendly event is appropriate for all ages.
