Congratulations to Auburn residents. They couldn’t even gather 600 citizens to vote “No, I don’t want to raise my taxes.” Apparently the people of Auburn are now happy to vote themselves higher taxes. It defies logic at every level.
How did past generations get infinitely better educations at a fraction of the cost? $23,094,759 divided by 3,583 students equals $6,446 per student.
