WASHINGTON, D.C. — Michaela Shorey, winner of the Maine 2016 Congressional Art Competition, visited the U.S. Capitol on June 23 where her portrait is being displayed. 

Shorey, a senior at Rangeley Lakes High School, won the contest with her portrait “An Older-Young Girl,” which was crafted using various materials including pastels and cut paper.
