LEWISTON —  Central Maine Medical Center’s sixth annual Helicopter Ball Drop raised nearly $9,500 for the Arbor House on June 21.

This fundraiser featured numbered golf balls representing raffle tickets that were dropped onto a target from a helicopter. The golf balls closest to the target were announced as the winners of cash prizes.

Winners were Dr. Michael Ricci of Poland, $2,000; Anthony D’Andrea of Norway, $1,500; Nick Glicos of Auburn, $1,000; and Ida Grondin of Lewiston, $500.

Hors d’oeuvres and cocktails were served. Local musicians Denny Breau and Debbie Morin provided entertainment.
