FARMINGTON — Family and friends attended visitation services for Darryl Newton Brown of Livermore Falls on Saturday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 1 p.m., at the Wiles Remembrance Center, 137 Farmington Falls Road, Farmington. The Rev. Mark Tanner of the Federated Church, Skowhegan, officiated. The opening prayer was shared by the Rev. Thomas Dubois.
Friends sharing in giving a eulogy were Samantha Warren, Paul Vigue, Randy VanDyke. His children, son, Toby Brown; stepdaughters, Erica Snow and Hilary Carter; and his wife, Penny Brown, also shared. Special music included the Carrie Underwood and Vince Gill rendition of “How Great Thou Art,” Righteous Brothers’ “Unchained Melody,” Porky Pig’s “Blue Christmas” and Louis Armstong’s “It’s a Wonderful World.”
Following services, all were welcomed at LaFleur’s Restaurant in Jay. Private family burial was Sunday afternoon at the Moose Hill Cemetery, Livermore Falls.
Pallbearers were Toby Brown, Jason Carter, Reza Meybodi, Hilary Carter, Shaun Stojak and Erica Snow.
