RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian burial honoring the life of Faylene Ann Austin was celebrated Monday, June 27, at 10 a.m., at the Parish of the Holy Savior. The Rev. Greg Dube was the celebrant. Bernard Poirier was the altar server. Mark Belanger was the organist.

Music selections were “Precious Lord Take My Hand,” “You Are Mine,” “Softly and Tenderly Jesus is Calling” and “Let There Be Peace On Earth.” The Old Testament was proclaimed by her grandson, Todd Austin. The New Testament was proclaimed by her granddaughter, Melissa Campbell. Prayer of the Faithful was offered by her granddaughter, Cassidy Austin. Offertory Gifts were presented by Lisa Walsh and Gail Dakin. Personal reflections were shared by her great-granddaughter, Sydnee VanHorn.

Interment was in Farrington-Morton Cemetery in Mexico. Pallbearers were Cody Austin, Pep Austin, Earl Canterbury, Troy Dickie, Jared Dickie and Caleb Austin.

A reception catered by S.G. Thibault Funeral Home was served by the Daughters of Isabella in the parish hall.

Services were under the care and guidance of S.G. Thibault Funeral Home, Cremation & Monument Services, 250 Penobscot St., Rumford.
