WAYNE — Wayne Community Church will hold its annual live/silent auction and celebration on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, July 7, 8 and 9.

Craig Miller, former meteorologist at WGME-TV, will guest host a live auction.

There will be an opening celebration/dessert extravaganza from 7 to 9 p.m. July 7. Silent auction bidding/viewing hours will be held during this time, as well as from 9 to 11 a.m. and 4 to 7 p.m. July 8 and from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. July 9.

The silent auction winds down on July 9 with hors d’oeuvres and live entertainment beginning at 3 p.m. Pick up of auction items will be 6 to 8 p.m.

Silent auction features getaways in Maine, Virginia Beach, Va., and a two-night stay and show in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. As well as gift cards, the auction features sports memorabilia including an autographed Xander Bogaerts Aruba/Red Sox baseball cap, an autographed baseball bat from David Ortiz, and baseballs signed by Johnny Bench and Cal Ripken Jr.

Also available are specialty foods, tours, golf outings, and handcrafted and retail items from all over the state.

Proceeds benefit missions of the Wayne Community Church and community programs.
