1939 – 2016

LEWISTON — Ralph “Tex” W. Kimball Sr., 77, a resident of Lewiston passed away Thursday, June 30, at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.

He was born March 9, 1939, in Lewiston, the son of Basil and Dorothy (Strout) Kimball. Ralph attended school in Monmouth. He served in the U.S. Army. Ralph worked as a truck driver for the Lewiston Sun Journal. Ralph enjoyed fishing, old cars, skating at the Rollodrome in New Auburn, and watching the Red Sox and the Patriots.

He is survived by his sons, Ralph Kimball Jr. and wife, Tiania, of Ellsworth, and Frank Kimball of Auburn; his daughter, Mary Ann Kimball of Lisbon; seven grandchildren; brothers, Carl Kimball and wife, Linda, of Lewiston, and Basil Kimball Jr. and wife, Linda, of Canton; sisters, Dorothy Green of Winthrop, Sandra Floyd of Livermore Falls, and Josephine Kimball also of Livermore Falls.

He was predeceased by siblings, Mark Paul Kimball, Frank Kimball, Jeannette Partridge and Christine Toothaker.
