RUMFORD — The Hope Association will hold its annual garage sale weekdays, July 11 to 22, on the Hancock Street side of its building, employee Tammy Roberts said Friday afternoon.
The location and time were changed because of renovations to its What Not Shop, a thrift store that offers secondhand items at reduced prices, in August, she said.
“We also have an abundance of items to sell, so between those two things, we decided to not only hold the garage sale in July but hold it over a two-week period,” Roberts said.
At the same time, there will be a Christmas in July sale for people to buy holiday gifts.
The garage sale will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. People should enter through the bay doors on the Hancock Street side of the building.
Proceeds will benefit programs for clients.
